Civil Supervisor / Foreman Job Description
In this role, you will be responsible for controlling all aspects of the construction works, Keeping the project adequately resourced with plant and materials, self-performing certain elements of works.
Usual Responsibilities
- Supervision of all works completed onsite to ensure required quality and productivity
- Managing all aspects of construction for your own live project and be reporting into the Project Manager or Superintendent
- Monitoring and controlling all aspects of health and safety
- Keeping accurate records of production, providing reports on works completed.
- Coordinating tasks and ensuring adherence to safe work method statements and risk assessments
- Liaise with clients, sub-contractors and internal team to achieve productive outcomes for the project
- Providing reports on works completed
- Resourcing plant and material for the works including programming the works
Requirements
- RMS knowledge is essential
- 5 years + experience in a production & supervisory role
- Extensive commitment and understanding to all matters relating health, safety and environment
- Have the ability and experience to run direct and sub-contract labour teams safely and productively
- Be practical-minded and work with hands-on approach coupled with excellent communication and people skills
- you must be able to communicate clearly, take & follow directions and be proactive in the workplace
- Be able to work to deadlines
- Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office
Average salary: $80k to $160k salary
